Pindara Private Hospital Renal Unit

Pindara’s new Renal Unit is now open.

The Pindara Private Hospital Renal Unit has doubled in size, with 10 chairs now available to patients.

The unit offers comprehensive haemodialysis/haemodiafiltration treatment using the most up to date Fresenius dialysis machines. With the increased capacity to treat patients each day, the Pindara Renal Unit can now accommodate both local and visiting patients.

The light and airy space overlooks a private courtyard, and has been furnished with brand new comfy recliner chairs, individual TV’s, a private treatment room and a well-stocked kitchenette for patient and guest use. New car parking spaces have been created specifically for Renal Unit patients and are adjacent to the Level 1 entrance to the hospital.

The Renal Unit is overseen by the Renal Haemodialysis Coordinator and Unit Medical Director, Dr Mohamed Khafaji and is supported by one of the Gold Coast’s largest and most comprehensive 24 hour Emergency Departments, as well as an on-site Intensive Care Unit.

The specialised and highly experienced renal unit team are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients in a comfortable, safe and relaxed environment. Patients can expect clear communication throughout their treatment and are encouraged to ask any questions they may have.

Holiday Patients

The Pindara Renal Unit is now open to holiday patients.

Our Benowa location is just minutes from popular Gold Coast holiday destinations such as Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach and is well connected to public transport.

We welcome both interstate and international patients and our service provides a great opportunity for clients to enjoy a wonderful holiday with the confidence of knowing that an experienced team is on hand to provide the best care possible.

Free parking is available in the multistory carpark off Carrara Street or in the dedicated Renal Unit spaces at the Level 1 entrance to the Hospital via the roadway off Carrara Street (next to the child care centre).
