Dr Angelo Rando is a Queensland trained orthopaedic surgeon graduating from university in 1995. He brings 20 years of experience to Clinical Practice at Gold Coast Hand and Upper Limb Clinic which he established in 2006.
Dr Rando is a member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society and the Australian Shoulder and Elbow Society.
As the current Secretary of the Queensland Hand Surgery Society, Dr Rando is invloved in developing specialist training and organsiation of Society meetings focusing on up-to-date education and research within the Hand Society.
Dr Rando has received both local and international training in:
- Brisbane -PA Hospital, Hand Unit, Spain, France and Italy.
- Dr Rando has vistited the Mayo Clinic, been involved in laboratory workshops looking at new, innovative wrist and hand arthroscopy techniques to bring to his practice.
The Gold Coast Hand and Upper Limb Clinic has, for 20 years, established a multidisciplinary approach to orthopaedic care with several modalities of treatment available onsite by trainined therapists and the ability to communicate with Dr Rando to optimise rehbilitation pre and post-surgery.
