Dr (Fritha) Ellen Noonan is a graduate of the University of Queensland, completing Bachelor Degrees in Science, Medicine and Surgery. After surgical residency at the Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane, Dr Noonan pursued specialty surgical training in Queensland and obtained her Fellowship in ENT with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
During training Dr Noonan was awarded the prestigious Jean Littlejohn Prize from the Australian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS) for her research on paediatric tonsil surgery, using a novel technique. The technique was learnt during an additional training year doing Paediatric ENT at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, United Kingdom.
Dr Noonan is a senior lecturer for Griffith University and holds membership with the Gold Coast Medical Association (GCMA), the Australian Medical Association (AMA) and Australian Society of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (ASOHNS).
Dr Noonan is warm, approachable and compassionate, with three children herself, she understands the needs of parents when making medical decisions for their children. Dr Noonan will provide a thorough work up for all ENT conditions and takes the time to ensure patients leave with knowledge and a clear management plan for their condition.
