Dr Animesh Mishra completed his medical degree with first class honours from The University of Sydney in 1999. He initially attained a fellowship in General Practice but then decided to pursue his long-standing interest in Gastroenterology.
Animesh completed his Gastroenterology training at Westmead and Royal North Shore Hospitals in Sydney before taking up locum positions in various locations to broaden his experience. Animesh has worked as a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist in various locations in Sydney, Canberra, Gosford, Wyong and Port Macquarie before setting up his private practice on the Gold Coast in July 2010.
Animesh provides a caring, comprehensive and professional service including general gastroenterology and hepatology consultation, endoscopic mucosal resection (EMR), capsule endoscopy and general gastroenterological procedures.
Animesh’s interests include inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disease. Animesh conducts general gastroenterology consultations at the Pindara Professional Centre, and is available to carry out procedures, as well as on-call and inpatient care at Pindara Private Hospital. Animesh is also available for procedures and consultations at John Flynn Private Hospital.
