Dr John Meulet attended Somerset College on the Gold Coast and graduated with first Class Honours in Medicine from the University of Queensland. He gained his FRACP in Cardiology at the Royal Brisbane, Princess Alexandra and The Prince Charles Hospitals.
Dr Meulet has just completed a two year Fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at The Cleveland Clinic, voted the number one cardiac hospital in the USA for the last 13 years. Dr Meulet's special interests include all rhythm disturbances and their management, including Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Re-synchronization therapy for heart failure, Pacemaker and ICD implantation and extraction.
Dr Meulet returned to the Gold Coast in August 2008 to join Drs Wright-Smith, Khatri and Trim at The Cardiac Centre.
