Dr Vinay Srinivasa has training in both Renal Medicine (Nephrology) and Adult Medicine. His dual fellowships in both specialities were conferred by the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2019 and 2021.
Born in the UK, Vinay spent his early childhood in Papua New Guinea and migrated to Australia with his family in 1991. He completed his schooling in Brisbane, Australia.
After completing secondary school, Vinay undertook his undergraduate medical training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, graduating in 2007.
He returned to Australia in 2008 after completing his internship at St.Georges Hospital in London, U.K. He completed his Basic Physician Training and General Medicine Advanced Training at The Gold Coast University Hospital. He has worked at Townsville and Toowoomba Hospitals as part of his Nephrology training. Vinay returned to London, UK in 2020 where he completed his final year of Nephrology Training at the Royal London Hospital. He is currently working part time as a staff specialist at Robina Hospital and does private clinics at Brockway House in Southport.
He has affiliations with the Australian and New Zealand Society of Nephrology (ANZSN) and the American Society of Nephrology (ASN)

He is a highly effective and quality-focused medical professional. He has strong clinical and communication skills through his practice in a diverse range of clinical environments. He is also keen on education and training of young doctors, having served on education committees for registrars undergoing clinical exam preparation and involved in the teaching of medical students during their hospital attachments.
Vinay likes to spend his time with his family and enjoys music and cricket.
