New day infusion centre opens at Pindara

Gold Coast locals needing infusion services can now visit the new Pindara Day Infusion Centre (PDIC) at Pindara Private Hospital.

What started as a six-chair unit housed in one of the specialist buildings, the PDIC has now reopened as a 25-chair unit in a newly refurbished, purpose built space. Pindara Private Hospital CEO, Mark Page, said as demand for the service grew, it was clear the PDIC needed a new home.

“The new, purpose-built space now looks and feels as wonderful as the care and service incredible team of staff and doctors have always provided to our patients,” Mr Page said.

“Our Day Infusion Centre has seen incredible growth in recent years and is on track to provide almost 10,000 vital treatments to the community this year.

“A big thank you to everyone who contributed to help us develop this new facility with a special mention to the team at The Southport Private Hospital for hosting our day infusion services while our new site was being upgraded.”
