After a visit to the National Park and a quick dip at Little Cove it’s time to hit the shops. The great
thing about shopping in Noosa is that there are many unique boutiques here. Brand staples like Gazman,
Tigerlily, Peter Alexander, Witchery and more, but my favourites are some of the long standing boutiques.
For homewares, Signature has been in business for 26 years and holds a treasure trove of magnificent
items for your home from candles and knick-knacks, to throws, towels and blankets. The owner Gail
Hinkley is renowned for her unique coastal style. For other home treasures try Hearts and Minds Gallery
with great jewellery, mostly locally handcrafted, artworks, cards and books.
On the clothes side you have Longboards and Sea Element for casual beachwear. Bow and Arrow has
labels such as Alice McCall, Nobody Denim and Karen Walker. A ‘must stop’ shop is Eliza’s boutique.
I passed it by at first because it is tucked away and tiny but make sure you find it. Eliza herself is likely
to greet you and with her wonderful stylists will help you find treasures for your wardrobe. She stocks
many of the latest fashions from Europe which are only available in her quaint store.
The thing that keeps me coming back to Noosa is that I can completely stop, relax and take things at
my own pace. Whether you choose to just lay on a lounge chair by the pool and not move for the day,
or venture out on an unhurried walk, you leave Noosa feeling like you have travelled to a European
resort. It’s my little pocket of heaven for recharging the batteries and sends me into relax mode from
the minute I drive over the hill and see the beach in front of me.
