Staff Service Awards
Pindara recently celebrated the service of
some of its longest standing staff at its annual
Staff Service Awards night. Members of staff
celebrating five, ten, fifteen, twenty, twenty-five
and thirty years of service were formally
recognised and thanked for their contribution at
an event at the Southport Golf Club.
Maternity Gardens and Birth Suite Upgrade
Work has recently been completed on the gardens
adjoining the Maternity Unit. The gardens have
been designed in a classic style, incorporating
decorative trees and grasses, along with a
bespoke water feature, adding an extra element
of calm and relaxation. A path extends through
the gardens allowing patients to walk through the
area safely, while taking in some fresh air and
sunshine. The birth suite balconies have been
decoratively screened and trees planted close by
to provide privacy for our birthing mothers.
Work has also begun on the second stage of the
birth suite upgrade project. By the projects end,
Pindara will have a total of five ultramodern
NEWS
birth suites offering mothers a luxurious
birthing experience, enhanced by the confidence
that comes with access to expert staff and
comprehensive hospital facilities.
