Pindara Private Hospital Magazine - Issue Four

NEWS Pindara update 2014 was a busy year in anyone’s language and 2015 is already shaping up to be even busier! Hospital expansion and community support projects continued right up to the end of 2014. In the last two months of the year, Pindara opened a new four chair Renal Unit and 15 beds of a new 30 bed Rehabilitation Unit. The hospital also completed a comprehensive expansion to its postoperative recovery area. Refurbishment continued to the older shared hospital rooms in 1A, where two rooms at a time are being refurbished to ensure patients admitted to the older areas of the hospital enjoy superior comfort in spacious private rooms with personal ensuite bathroom. The Pindara Hospital Medical Community also found time to raise $1,575 in support of the Gold Coast Community Fund through a Movie Night fundraiser held at the Arts Centre. The Community Fund applied the funds to help those in most need, in our community. We Value Your Feedback Pindara Private Hospital was completed in 1971 and is the longest serving private hospital on the Gold Coast.
