Accidents happen anywhere, anytime and when they do it is good to know after-hours emergency care is available 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year through the Pindara Emergency Centre.

The Pindara Emergency Centre is modern medical facility, run by highly experienced emergency staff who provide prompt and professional care. Emergency Services are supported by 24 hour radiology and pathology services.

Patients are seen in order of medical urgency and with minimal delay to ensure the best medical outcome for patients.  

The Emergency team takes pride in maintaining close relationships with a wide network of local General Practitioners and Specialists. 

No appointment is necessary, and no referral from your doctor is necessary.

How to get there

A patient can present directly to Pindara Emergency Centre, or they can request to be taken there by ambulance.

History

Pindara Emergency Centre and Pindara Private Hospital are leading providers of healthcare services on the Gold Coast. Both are well-equipped with life-saving technology, and offer a comprehensive and personalised service to the community.  

Pindara Private Hospital opened the first private Emergency Centre in Australia, in December, 1987.

Since then, the Pindara Emergency Centre has treated in excess of 400,000 patients and now averages more than 22,000 emergencies per annum.

Patients are cared for by a team of specialist doctors and nurses with extensive experience in providing immediate and follow-up care.
