Pindara Private Hospital is an acute medical/surgical and maternity hospital serving the north end of the Gold Coast. It has been a leading provider of healthcare for this community for over 35 years achieving national and international recognition in many fields. With 219 beds, Pindara offers a comprehensive range of services including orthopaedic surgery, cardiac and coronary care services, obstetrics, gynaecology and IVF, day surgery, medical services, breast surgery, bariatric/obesity surgery, colorectal surgery, general medical & specialty physicians, gastroenterology, general & Ear nose & throat surgery, plastic surgery, respiratory medicine, urology, urogynecology and vascular surgery.
The hospital has 6 operating theatres, a cardiac catherisation lab, 4 delivery suites, 16 cot special care nursery, an 11 bed combined ICU/CCU along with ward accommodation for medical and surgical patients in a combination of private and shared rooms.

The hospital is conveniently located in the heart of the Gold Coast at Benowa, which is approximately 4 kilometres from Surfers Paradise. It is easily accessible by main roads with easy access from all the major arterial roads of M1, Gold Coast Highway and Bundall Road. The hospital is well serviced by public transport.
The Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Australia’s largest and most respected private hospital operators. Ramsay Health Care has a portfolio of 68 hospitals across Australia and Indonesia.
Pindara was constructed in 1971 and has undergone some renovations and extensions over the years. Ramsay Health Care is currently exploring options to redevelop the hospital including additional beds, theatres, consulting suites and carparking.
